Mwa mas, Mwa Madan Sara - March is Madan Sara Month!

In honor of International Women’s Day, we are excited to announce to the public that we will be hosting a series of free Madan Sara screenings through the month of March. We hope that you will stay tuned for more information and will mark your dates for the following screenings:

• March 5, 2021: Cap-Haïtien, Haiti

• March 6, 2021: Port-au-Prince, Haiti

• March 7, 2021: Delmas, Haiti

• March 8, 2021: Petionville, Haiti and online in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania

At each screening, we will host a conversation on the importance of the role that Madan Sara play in the Haitian economy and the importance of valorizing and supporting women’s work, and women’s rights more broadly. In the coming weeks, we’ll be excited to share special invitees who will join us in discussion. We will also be adding additional screenings through the month of March, so stay in touch and follow along online (social links below and by using the hashtag #MadanSara).
